We became Venue Owners during COVID-19...
Yep, I'm serious.
As events and weddings were shut down across the country, we were signing closing papers.
Our Journey
We signed closing papers on March 20, 2020 and the next Day President Trump declared a National Pandemic.
While this could be scary (and believe us it was at times) we knew serving couples as venue owners was the right path for us and our family. Every step of the process was guided by God and we are so blessed and grateful for this experience.
We are especially grateful to the amazing couples that stood by us through an ownership transition and all of the COVID-19 changes that we navigated together.
What kept us going was the excitement of knowing HOW we would serve our couples-with grace, compassion, gratitude, and commitment. My husband Allen and I both have backgrounds in customer service and business ownership so it made sense from a practical perspective but the passion to relocate to the countryside and serve others on a more personal level was what really made this journey feel special to us.
Every couple deserves a storybook wedding without going into debt in the process.
We weren't able to make it happen for ourselves and that gives us the passion and drive to make sure it can happen for our couples.
Our couples bring us so much joy and inspire us to consistently improve the property and our day to day operations. We want our couples to feel at home and like family.
We have made many lifetime friends already!
We hope you will join us and become part of our story here at Timber Line Barn.

About Timber Line Barn
Nestled in the beautiful countryside of Dallas County, Timber Line Barn is a brief scenic 35 minute drive north of the Springfield metro area.
The 10 acre property is easily accessible from main roads yet sits off a secluded road at the back of the property to offer you and your guests privacy.
Timber Line Barn was built in 2013 by Nicole and Chad Bryan.
It was the first Barn venue dedicated to hosting weddings in the area. Pretty cool right?
As new owners we have made it our mission to uphold Nicole and Chad's vision of a beautiful countryside venue that is affordable for young couples, easy to work with owners and offers a ton of value.
Of course we have added to that vision and enhanced the building and property in ways that highlight what was already in place - a stunning venue surrounded by nature and countryside.

Instead of a traditional ribbon cutting we opted for a cake cutting at our First Open House/Grand Reopening.
My mother is in the background serving the delicious cake made by Charity Fent Cake Design. Surelle our daughter, is right by our side for the big moment.
